I was absolutely delighted to find this place. Not much to look at from outside, but it is your definitive small town go to. My big surprise was the fried oysters. I enjoyed them SO much, I ate them for lunch all week while I was in town. My go to sides were the cooked collards and green beans, mostly because they were not fried but whatever they cook them in, is wonderful. They came with hushpuppies as well, but I rarely had room for them. The portion of the oysters is generous, even for the small size, and the price was very reasonable.
I witnessed my cohorts consume different plates throughout the week and none of the plates were duds. I look forward to returning and eating even more oysters!

My mama and I ate at Bellas last night around 8pm and were seated immediately. The menu has a nice variety and was reasonably priced. I got the grilled liver, collards, and fried squash. I do not want to cook liver, but I like to eat it and theirs was yummy. The fried squash were the real deal & not the frozen patties. The collards were fresh and perfectly seasoned. I was also brought vinegar without having to ask. I ate every bite of my cheddar biscuit. It was light and fluffy. My mama ordered a similar plate but with mashed potatoes and they were real, not instant. The staff was friendly as well. The bill was $19.×× plus tip for 2 entrees & 2 drinks. I'm looking forward to visiting here again!

Excellent. We had a great meal. The staff was attentive and the food amazing. We did not expect to find such a treasure tonight. The vista were very reasonable. I had stir fry and Tim had chopped steak. I heard from other boys timers the seafood was great and the chicken salad was yummy. Can't wait to go back.

I will start with the positives. The servers were friendly and prompt, and the price was very reasonable. The sausage patties were flavorful and the grits and eggs were good as well. The home fries were large chunks of potatoes that were deep fried. They had no seasoning yet were still good once salted. The coffee was just average. The fried tenderloin was a disappointment--too much sour (lemon?) and the breading was fish breading or was otherwise unusual. And...the biscuit. If you've read my reviews you know how I lament the apparent absence of good biscuits in most of the places I have visited. But this was a new level. It just tasted BAD. I am fairly convinced they used spoiled milk or something. It was so off putting. I don't want to exaggerate, but it was almost enough to make me ill. Pretty sparse crowd in a dim, unremarkable setting. I was disappointed that my experience was so much worse than most other reviews.

Delicious food and friendly staff. Our group met up to get a bite to eat before our day. The ingredients are fresh, the food is in generous portions and well prepared, and the staff are really friendly to talk to.
